Make sure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Phone Trigger works entirely over your local network — there is no cloud server. Guest networks and some corporate/hotel networks block device-to-device traffic; a personal hotspot or home Wi-Fi works best.
Open the receiver on the phone that should display the alarm. It shows a QR code and a web address. On any other device — phone, tablet, or laptop — either scan the QR code or type that address into a browser, then enter the 4-digit code. No second app to install.
The receiver fills the whole screen, so images that don't match your phone's aspect ratio are cropped at the edges. For a pixel-perfect result, use an image sized to your phone's screen resolution.
