Phone Trigger is developed by Timo Haapasaari ("I", "me"). The short version: Phone Trigger does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking.
Your settings — such as alarm text, fonts, colors, and any custom background image you choose — are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere and are deleted when you delete the app.
Phone Trigger's receiver and its remote communicate directly with each other over your local Wi-Fi network. The remote is simply a web page the receiver hosts on your network, opened in a browser on another device. This traffic never leaves your network and never passes through any server operated by me or anyone else.
If you choose a custom background image, the app accesses only the photo you pick. The image is stored locally on the device and is never uploaded.
Phone Trigger is a paid app. Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their own privacy policies. The app itself does not receive or store any payment information, and it contains no third-party purchase, analytics, or advertising SDKs.
Phone Trigger is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
